Cultural Heritage

The region is full of abbeys, churches and castles:

The abbey church of Hastière beyond,

The abbey of Maredsous,

The castle of Freyr, that of Waulsort, that of Vèves ...

The ruins of Montaigle,

The gardens of Annevoie,

The edges of the upper Meuse are home to several pearls:

Waulsort, a marina considered until the 1960s as the "Knokke of the Ardennes".

Dinant with, among others, the citadel, the collegiate church of Notre-Dame, the House of Adolphe Sax, the House of Pataphony.

Givet is also worth your visit, with its old town center and the citadel which overlooks it.

The banks of the Meuse can also be admired from a boat.

In Givet and Dinant, cruises are organized almost every day.

In Dinant, you can also rent a small boat without having a license.

In Waulsort, a ferryman ferries people from one bank to the other in his boat.

There is a collection of the documentation for you on all these sites and it will be available to you at the accommodation.
